Mailbox vandalism spree reported in Bowie County

The Bowie County sheriff is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection to a week-long spree of mailbox vandalism.
The vandalism to boxes along FM 561 near Simms, has been occurring for a little more than a week, officials said.
To provide information about the incidents, contact Bowie County Sheriff's Office at (903) 798-3149 or the Crimestoppers hotline at (903) 793-7867. Information can also be reported to the local post office.
Mailbox vandalism carries local and federal punishments. Each act of vandalism carries maximum penalties of up to $250,000 in fines and up to three years in prison.
