Five East Texans have been arrested in the past 10 days and charged with some variety of sexual abuse of a child.
Guillermo Morales, 17, of White Oak; Christopher Townsend, 34, of Longview; Ronald Dison, 51, of Gladewater; Peggy Weinberg, 26; and Cassandra Stone, 32, of Kilgore have been arrested since Nov. 19 and are currently held in the Gregg County Jail.
Weinberg and Stone, along with Jesse Smith, who was previously arrested and had charges increased, were arrested in connection with the molestation of a 2-year-old boy.
Weinberg was with her boyfriend, Smith, and her friend Stone were at a residence when "Peggy, Jesse and Cassie were all doing drugs and decided to have sex with each other," according to the criminal complaint for Weinberg's arrest.
Weinberg told a Gregg County sheriff's investigator she fell asleep and when she woke up, she saw Smith and Stone touching the child. However, Stone told investigators Weinberg said, "let's play around," and encouraged Smith and Stone to molest the child, according to the criminal complaints.
Investigators discovered the abuse of the child by several images of pornography found on Smith's camera.
Stone and Weinberg were arrested Nov. 20, charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and held on a $250,000 bond.
Dison was arrested about 1:45 p.m. Nov. 19 by Gladewater police.
Dison was arrested in connection with a complaint filed on Nov. 4 that in 2008 he molested a 6-year-old girl, according to the criminal complaint for his arrest.
Dison was charged with indecency with a child sexual contact and held in the Gregg County Jail on a $75,000 bond, according to Gregg County judicial records.
Morales was arrested Thursday, charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, and held in the Gregg County Jail on a $250,000 bond, according to Gregg County judicial records.
He was accused of abusing a 3-year-old girl, according to his criminal complaint.
