Wins and zero losses in homecoming games during coach John King's tenure at Longview. The 49-point margin of victory was the largest in a homecoming game in King's nine seasons, narrowly besting the 45-0 win against Sulphur Springs on Oct. 2, 2009.
Yards, five touchdowns and one interception on 20 of 32 passing in the last two games for sophomore quarterback Dezmond Chumley, who threw for 108 yards and a career-high four touchdowns in the first half Friday. Longview quarterbacks threw for just 229 yards the three games prior to the Mesquite Horn game.
Tackles for Chapel Hill transfer Tre Allen through three games, including seven tackles, two tackles-for-loss and a sack on Friday. His seven tackles-for-loss this season are tied-for-second on the team and he has a team-high three sacks despite missing the first five games of the year.
Interceptions by senior safety Corey Bartley this season, including a career-high three on Friday, one pick short of tying the single-game school record. In addition to leading the team in interceptions, he also leads in tackles (95), passes broken up (12) and blocked kicks (5).
Tackles registered by senior linebacker Taurean Sheppard, a team-high. Sheppard's 84 tackles this season rank third on the team behind Bartley and senior linebacker DeMarkus Lathan (95).
