A man was in the Gregg County Jail on Monday on charges of robbing the Day and Night Texaco convenience store and another Interstate-20 area convenience store over the weekend.
Vincent Lee Hundle, 31, was held under $100,000 bond. He is charged with holding up convenience stores Saturday and Sunday.
According to police, both stores were robbed by a white male wearing a hoodie and cap.
The suspect had facial hair and blonde hair. Store clerks each said the suspect came into the store, brandished a weapon and demanded money. In each case, police said, the suspect fled on foot.
Hundle was taken into custody outside a Dollar General store on South Mobberly Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
