Juvenile charged in May shooting moved to Gregg County Jail

A juvenile arrested in connection to the May 15 shooting that left a former Kilgore College football player dead has been moved to the Gregg County Jail.

Deion Frazier Reed, 17, was originally booked into a juvenile detention center after he and his brother, Torry Jamal Reed, were arrested and charged in the shooting death of DeAundray Lamanze Rossum, 23, according to police reports.

Rossum was shot to death in a vehicle at a South Longview apartment complex just before 10 p.m., police reports said.

Three other people were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, police said. Two of them were taken to Good Shepherd Medical center, where they were treated for gunshot wounds.

Deion Reed is being held on bonds totaling $500,000, charged with murder and aggravated robbery.

Torry Reed remains in the Gregg County Jail on $500,000 bond, charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery.

Brendan Douglas was also charged with capital murder in the case. Douglas is in the Gregg County Jail on several charges, including capital murder.
