Name of victim in deadly truck-train crash released

Officials have released the name of a man killed when the truck he was driving struck a moving train this morning in Longview.
29-year-old Andrew J. Gooden of Hempstead was driving southbound on Estes Parkway at about 2:25 a.m. when the 2010 GMC Sierra he was driving struck a Union Pacific train moving on the tracks in the 4000 block of Estes Parkway.
Gooden was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brian said Gooden failed to stop and crashed into the train. Gooden was the only occupant of the truck, and there were no other injuries.
Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary said the train was moving at a slow rate of speed at the time of the crash. After driving into the train, the vehicle was stuck under it and was pushed a short distance, Zackary said.
