ET Baseball: Linden-Kildare, Harleton win in Jim Grubbs Tournament

<p class="p1">JIM GRUBBS TOURNAMENT</p>

<p class="p1">LINDEN-KILDARE 10, JOHN TYLER 0: LINDEN - Clayton Jayes and Lane Burleson combined for five RBIs, and the Linden-Kildare Tigers closed out action in the Jim Grubbs Tournament.</p>

<p class="p1">Jaynes drove in three runs, Burleson added two RBIs and Robbie West, Jordan Spaniol and Reid Bynum all drove in runs for the Tigers. Curt Wells struck out eight and allowed just one hit with no walks in four innings to earn the pitching win.</p>

<p class="p1">HARLETON 8, SPRING HILL JV 2: LINDEN - Matt Burke doubled, singled and drove in two runs, Taylor Henson added two hits and drove in a run and Matt Bullock got into the act with a pair of RBIs as Harleton notched an 8-2 win over the Spring Hill JV.</p>

<p class="p1">Jack Underwood, Burke and Henson all scored two runs for the Wildcats. T.J. Davis earned the pitching win.</p>

<p class="p1">Josh Guarisco had two hits in the loss for Spring Hill.</p>
