Students advance to state UIL solo, ensemble contest

Feb. 26, 2013 at 10 p.m.

On Feb. 1, 67 choir students competed in the UIL solo and ensemble contest at Whitehouse High School. There were 111 medals brought home by this group of students. Twenty-seven Hallsville High School students will be advancing to the state UIL solo and ensemble contest to be held in Austin in May. Those receiving first division medals on either a solo, an ensemble or both are:
