A shooting in Longview on Sunday night left a man dead and a woman hospitalized.
Longview police were called to a home in the 300 block of Bonner Street at 5:18 p.m. Sunday.
"When we arrived on the scene we found one male, deceased, and there was one female with non-life threatening injuries, and she was taken to the hospital," police spokeswoman Kristi Bryan said.
Neither persons' ages or descriptions were available, Bryan said. She said multiple shots were fired, and police have no serious leads.
At 8:47 p.m., police had cordoned off the 300 block of Bonner Street, from south of Oden Street. There were about 75 residents crowded around the intersection of Oden and Bonner streets, none of whom reported any knowledge of what happened.
"We're waiting on a search warrant to be signed and brought to the location so we can begin our investigation inside the home," she said.
"At this point, we're asking anyone with information to call the police department at 237-1199."
They can also contact Gregg County Crime Stoppers at (903) 236-7867, Bryan said.
