Marshall murder suspect transferred from Houston jail

A Jefferson woman charged in the shooting death of a Marshall man has been transferred from Houston to the Harrison County Jail.
Oriel Jacinta Alexander, 21, remained in jail Monday under $500,000 bond, according to jail records and Harrison County District Attorney Coke Solomon.
The second suspect, Jason Stevens Rand, 31, remained Monday in Houston's Harris County Jail, where he was held under a $500,000 bond.
Rand and Alexander have been charged in the March 8 shooting death of David Cherry, who was buried this past Saturday in Waskom.
Investigators linked the suspects to the case after releasing surveillance video from the crime scene.
