Police looking for 2 suspects after robbery at Gladewater business

Gladewater police are searching for two men they say robbed an employee at a local restaurant Sunday night.

At about 9 p.m., the duo entered Texas Traditions in the 600 block of East Broadway Avenue wearing ski masks and dressed in all black, according to a statement released by Police Chief Robert Vine.

The men went into the office area, displayed a weapon and demanded the employee give them all of the money in the office, Vine said. Vine did not say how much money the pair took.

Gladewater police and members of the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene, along with a tracking canine unit from the Kilgore Police Department.

The two subjects were described as being approximately six foot in height. One subject was described as having a slender build, and the other was described as having a medium build, police said

No one was injured during the robbery.
