ET Basketball: Tatum's Rockwell, Brooks named to all-state team

Tatum's Robbie Rockwell and Chaston Brooks highlight the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-State basketball teams.

Rockwell, a senior, made the team in Class 2A after averaging 16.8 points and hitting 132 three-pointers this season. Rockwell also averaged 2.1 steals per game.

Brooks, a junior, averaged 11.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and two steals this season for the Eagles, who advanced to the Class 2A championship game against Ponder.

Joining Rockwell and Brooks in Class 2A was Keaton Fontenot of Central Heights.

In Class A-Division I, Martin's Mill's Davis Moore, LaPoynor's Octavious Crear, San Augustine's Jarvis Smith and Grapeland's Patrick Walker all were named all-state.

Laneville's Donta Harris, Douglass' Bryce Westbrook and Oakwood's Damiyne Durham and Jacquez Anderson were all-state selections in Class A-Division II.
