The Longview Chamber of Commerce (LCC) has launched a completely redesigned website, www.longviewchamber.com. It was unveiled early July 2015, increasing the ease in which chamber members and the community can stay informed on the latest chamber developments.
“Our mission is to engage in and promote projects that have a positive impact on the Longview Trade Area. The launch of our new site is just such a project. Our new site will increase our ability to serve our members,” Kelly Hall, President and CEO of the Longview Chamber of Commerce said.
One of the biggest improvements to the site was a reorganization of the vast amount of information available on the website. Now things like blogs, news, membership info and searching are more accessible and organized than they were before.
The Longview Chamber partnered with chamber member Advocate Digital Media on the design, implementation and management of the new site. Featuring responsive design, chamber members and the community can access the site easily on any platform – desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
“The one thing I’m really pleased with is how well the site works on all devices. So many people use their iPhone or iPad and our updated website works well on all them,” Paul Anderson, senior vice president of the Longview Chamber of Commerce said.
The site also fully integrates social platforms to encourage engagement and sharing of local content and resources.
“The end result is a web site that is visually stunning, loaded with the latest features, and offers ease at updating the content so it doesn’t become static,” Hall said.
Advocate Digital Media’s full service agency has developed to be the area’s primary source for digital marketing solutions, attracting a diverse list of clients in both East Texas as well as South Texas, and is a leader in developing business-centered web sites. The agency simultaneously developed www.visitlongviewtexas.com for the Longview Convention and Visitors Bureau.
“I really enjoyed working with the Advocate Digital Media team, they were excellent to work with and very responsive to questions and suggestions. It was great to have an excellent local company be at that level of expertise and available here in Longview,” Anderson said.
