ET Football: Longview JV runs over Tyler Lee, more

LONGVIEW 40, TYLER LEE 6: Juvarrs Lampkin tossed a pair of touchdown passes and rushed for another score, leading the Longview Lobos to a 40-6 win over Tyler Lee at Lobo Stadium.

Lampkin scored on a 1-yard run and tossed touchdown passes of 44 yards to Jacob Johnson and 18 yards to Xavier Blanton.

Corey Evans scored on a 1-yard run, and Jaleel Blount added a 10-yard scoring run for the Lobos. Keilyn Williams tacked on a 16-yard TD jaunt following a fumble recovery by Daydrian Wells. Ja'Vonta Writt forced the fumble.

Harold Jones booted three extra points for the Lobos (5-0), who will visit Rockwall on Thursday.


LONGVIEW A 42, TYLER LEE 13: Haynes King tossed a pair of touchdown passes and ran for another, and the Longview Lobos rolled to a 42-13 win over Tyler Lee on Thursday.

King connected with Jayden Williams on a 33-yard TD pass and hit Bryce Oliver from 70 yards out to go along with a 25-yard scoring run. Williams on a run and Thomas Collins on a pass from King tacked on two-point conversions.

Rounding out the scoring for the Lobos was Terrance Head Jr. with a 3-yard run, Kaden Kearbey with a 5-yard run and Logan Lambert with four extra points.

The Lobos (4-0) will host Rockwall next Thursday.

LONGVIEW B 22, TYLER LEE 0: Longview scored once through the air and twice on the ground, and Jitez Ephriam had an interception to lead the defensive effort in a 22-0 win over Tyler Lee.

Keith Halton hauled in a 38-yard touchdown pass from Coy Sanders to open the scoring, and Jaylon Ellis (3 yards) and Jjhy'Mhriyon Gay (49 yards) added rushing TDs. Toryn Collins and Gay added two-pointers for the Lobos.

Longview improves to 2-1-1 with the win.
