A Longview man who identified himself as "El Diablo" was arrested Monday after police said he threatened to shoot anybody who exited the Longview Police Department.
Dakota Jasper Faulk, 23, was held Tuesday on $3,500 bond, charged with terroristic threat against a public servant.
Police said at about 8:46 p.m. Monday, Faulk made a 911 call and told the operator his name was El Diablo.
Police said Faulk stated he was "standing outside of the police department with a sniper rifle and was ready to shoot any police or anybody else who came outside" and said that he was "going to kill (them) because (they) are pigs."
Police determined Faulk was at his residence at the Flamingo Mobile Home Park in the 2400 block of Pine Tree Road.
Police said Faulk told them he had a rifle and was going to use it to kill officers and said he had knives and was proficient at throwing them.
Police said they were able to persuade Faulk to come outside with no weapons and arrest him.
