Ink Life to bring rock bands to Longview

Fuel, Quiet Riot and Creed's Scott Stapp will headline a three-day tattoo and music festival coming to Longview.

The Ink Life Tour Tattoo and Music Festival is set Aug. 11-13 at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center, 100 Grand Blvd. in Longview.

The festival brings hundreds of tattoo artists together for a three-day ink event, including an Aug. 13 tattoo competition.

The entertainment lineup consists of Fuel and Dan Sperry the Anti Conjurer on Aug. 11; Blackfoot and Quiet Riot on Aug. 12; and Scott Stapp of Creed, Sick Puppies, Drowning Pool, Trapt and Adelitas Way on Aug. 13.

The festival is open from noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 11-12 and noon to 9 p.m. Aug. 13. Tickets are $25 per day or $40 for a weekend pass, and it's free for children 12 and younger. VIP tickets are available for $50 per day or $75 for the weekend.
