7-year-old boy struck by bullet in Longview

A 7-year-old boy was struck by a bullet in his arm Friday afternoon after two men fired multiple shots on Douglas Street, Longview police said.
Longview police were called around 2 p.m. to the 1200 block of Douglas Street to a shooting. Police said two suspects fired the shots in the direction of a house where the boy was.
The boy’s injury was described as non-life threatening, and he was being treated at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, police said.
