KC Chorale

Former Kilgore College chorale members are asked to attend a special event, "50 Years of Kilgore College Chorale," Kilgore College Department of Music and Dance's officials said.

Set for Feb. 10, the event will have various activities planned for KC Chorale alumni followed by an alumni concert set for 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Kilgore.

The concert will feature members of the KC Chorale; Zachary Marshall, director of choral activities at KC; Mary Heiden, KC's Department of Music and Dance department chair; and accompanist Jonathan Kaan.

They will be joined by former directors Ryan Kelly, Paul Neal, Dale Miller, accompanist David Berryhill of First Baptist Church and alumni KC Chorale members from 1968-present.

The concert will feature classic favorites such as "For the Beauty of the Earth" by John Rutter, "Beethoven's Kyrie from Mass in C," and "The Lord Bless You and Keep You" by Peter Lutkin.

For information, email Heiden at mheiden@kilgore.edu.
