Wonderland of Lights continues

A crowd gathers to look at the Historic Harrison County Courthouse while attending the Wonderland of Lights on  Nov. 22 in downtown Marshall.

The 31st annual Wonderland of Lights is open through Dec. 31 in front of the Historic Harrison County Courthouse in Marshall.

Activities and attractions include outdoor ice skating, carousel, two trains, horse-drawn carriage, Santa's Village and live entertainment at Telegraph Stage.

Many longtime light displays return, and this year's theme is Candy Wonderland.

The Main Street office at 301 Washington Ave. is a souvenir shop selling Wonderland blankets, mugs, hats and stocking stuffers for children.

The Holly Trolly, which is new, is at Rusk Street between Mike's Shoe Store and the General Store. The trolly offers tours of downtown. Across the street beside the Weisman Center is Frosty's Wonderland.

Wonderland of Lights is open 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and Sundays, and 4 to 10 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 31. It will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Admission is free, but some activities have fees.
