One person died early Tuesday after being ejected from a car on County Road 2121 in Rusk County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS identified the driver as Sarah Coomes Armstrong, 41, of Hallsville.
A preliminary investigation showed that a car driven by Armstrong had been traveling southeast on County Road 2121 south of County 2121-A when it ran off the road while taking a curve, according to Sara Warren with the DPS. The car struck an embankment and rolled.
Armstrong, who delivered newspapers for the Longview News-Journal, died at the scene, Warren said.
