Daingerfield lifts boil water notice

The city of Daingerfield lifted a boil water notice Wednesday, citing that mechanical problems have been resolved.
The city notified residents Monday of a need to boil water as crews worked to repair a system malfunction in its water system.
Though the malfunction was expected to be fixed Monday, the boil water notice remained in effect until adequate water testing was performed.
On Wednesday, the city said it had provided the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality with testing results and that the water no longer requires boiling.
