Longview officers seize more than 80 grams of meth; 3 arrested

Three Longview residents remain in jail Thursday after drug enforcement and police officers said they found 84.8 grams of methamphetamine belonging to them.

Paul Douglas Cash, 35, was charged with possession of between 1 and 4 grams of a controlled substance. Brenda Carol Smith, 51, and David Ray Click, 59, were each charged with manufacture/delivery of between 4 and 200 grams of a controlled substance. Bond had not been set.

Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement and Longview Special Investigations and Apprehensions officers arrested the trio Wednesday while serving a narcotics search warrant in the 1000 block of Annette Drive. Officers also seized drug paraphernalia, cash and a loaded gun during the search.

All three individuals have faced prior drug charges in Gregg County.
