Jacksonville police seek dangerous suspects after Sunday night shooting

The Jacksonville Police Department is searching for a shooting suspect it said should be considered dangerous.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired just after 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve, the department said.
Two gunshot victims were found and taken to local hospitals.
Police identified the suspect as Carlton "Hammer" Johnson, 27. He is wanted on warrants out of Jacksonville, Cherokee County and the U.S. Marshal's Office.
Police said there might be additional suspects. Hammer and others fled in a gray 2005 Jeep Cherokee bearing Texas license plate JLG7285. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
