Spring Hill ISD place 3 trustee Brad Rogers submitted his letter of resignation at the July 20 board meeting.
Superintendent Wayne Guidry said Rogers resigned because his son graduated, and the family moved out of the district.
The seat is currently vacant. The district has not decided how the seat will be filled, but the board is scheduled to meet on Monday.
Rogers was reelected in May 2019 after beating challenger Robert Dunaway.
