Longview police arrested a 29-year-old man Tuesday after a grand jury indictment charged him with threatening another man with a knife.

Michael Dashun Orange of Longview was being held Wednesday in Gregg County Jail on a $50,000 bond on a warrant from the 188th District Court on an indictment on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, jail records show.

The warrant said the incident occurred June 10 and that Orange displayed a knife after threatening to stab the other man.

Longview police arrested Orange at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Morrison Street.
