Longview police have arrested a 30-year-old man who was indicted on charges of cutting a woman with a knife and hitting her with his hand, according to Gregg County court records.
Bryan Seth Williams of Longview was being held Friday in Gregg County Jail on $50,000 in bonds on warrants from the 188th District Court after grand jury indictments on charges of assault on a family/household member, previous conviction, and assault with a deadly weapon, jail records show. Police arrested Williams at 11:02 p.m. Thursday at Pine Tree Road and Sycamore Lane.
One indictment says Williams cut the woman with a knife on May 1, 2018, and “intentionally or knowingly” threatened her with imminent bodily injury by holding the knife near and against her. The other indictment says Williams hit the woman on May 24, 2018.
