A Marshall ISD bus was involved in a wreck Tuesday morning, but no students were seriously injured, according to a district official.

District spokesman David Weaver said Bus No. 32 had been involved in a wreck at Pinecrest Drive and Rosborough Springs Road in Marshall.

Superintendent Jerry Gibson spoke in a Facebook Live video to say it appeared a driver ran a red light at the intersection and that the bus driver was unable to avoid a collision. He said some students were treated for bumps and bruises but that no serious injuries were reported.

Marshall Police spokesman Lt. Len Ames said EMS checked those involved at the scene, but no one was transported with injuries.

Students who had been on the bus were transferred to a different bus and taken to school.
