■ Jessie Powell Broussard III, 39, of Henderson was being Friday on $17,500 in bonds on two warrants from the 188th District Court after grand jury indictments on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity.

Broussard was arrested by Rusk County Sheriff’s deputies at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Rusk County Jail.

■ Tasha Leona Broussard, 39, of Henderson was being held Friday on $15,000 in bonds on two warrants from the 188th District Court after grand jury indictments on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity.

Broussard was arrested by Rusk County Sheriff’s deputies at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the Rusk County Jail.

■ Daniel Joseph Decker, 33, of Elm City, North Carolina, was being held on a $75,000 bond Friday on a warrant from the 124th District Court for bond forfeiture on a previous charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Decker was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 11 a.m. Thursday in Johnson County.

■ Bakari Martayk Ector, 40, of Longview was being held Friday on $8,000 in bonds on warrants from Morris County for engaging in organized criminal activity and theft of property between $2,500 and $30,000 in value. Ector also faced payment plans on numerous traffic/vehicle citations.

Ector was arrested by Longview police at 11 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex in the 100 block of East Hawkins Parkway.

■ Michael Keith Gray, 31, of Tyler was being held Friday on a warrant from the 188th District Court for violation of probation for driving while intoxicated, third or more offense. Bond had not been set Friday.

Gray was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Dear Unit Recovery Center in White Oak.

■ David Eugene Hopkins, 43, address unavailable, was being held Friday on $28,000 in bonds on a warrant from the 124th District Court for affidavit of surety for injury to a child/elderly/disabled person with serious bodily injury and local warrants for affidavits of incarceration on previous charges of criminal trespass and evading arrest or detention.

Hopkins was arrested by Longview police at 8:23 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Mobberly Avenue.

■ Gwendolyn Monique Kennedy, 31, of Longview was being held Friday on a $10,000 bond on a warrant from Harrison County for theft of property less than $2,500 in value, with two or more previous convictions, and awaited bond on a warrant from Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 for affidavit of incarceration on a previous charge of theft of property of less than $2,500 in value with two or more previous convictions.

Kennedy was arrested by Longview police at 1 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of South 12th Street.

■ Jade Anthony Alexander Nelson, 46, of Gladewater was being held Friday on a $1,500 bond on a charge of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance.

Nelson was arrested by Gladewater police at 9:15 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 80.

■ Casey Marie Smith, 32, of Longview was being held Friday on a $20,000 bond on a warrant from the 124th District Court for bond forfeiture on a previous charge of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance and awaited bond on a warrant from Gladewater police on a charge of public intoxication.

Smith was arrested by Gladewater police at 10:47 p.m. Thursday on Dean Street west of U.S. 80.

■ Clister Ray Thomas Jr., 55, of Longview was being held Friday on a warrant from the 188th District Court after a grand jury indictment on a charge of possession between 1 gram and 4 grams of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 25 years in the Texas Department of Corrections.

Thomas was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 10 a.m. Thursday at the courthouse.
