■ Conard Vernice Cooks, 27, of Longview was being held Wednesday on a warrant from the 124th District Court for violation of probation for possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance. Bond had not been set Wednesday.

Cooks was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the courthouse.

■ Kevin Mack Cox, 57, of Overton was being held Wednesday on $4,500 in bonds on charges of forgery of a financial instrument and display of a fictitious motor vehicle registration. He faced payment plans on warrants from Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 for two counts of driving with a suspended license and one count apiece for displaying expired license plates, no motor vehicle liability insurance and having an open container in a vehicle as a driver.

Cox was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 11:39 p.m. Tuesday on Texas 42 and Interstate 20.

■ Kyle Richard Kinlaw, 34, of Longview was being held Wednesday on $20,500 in bonds on charges of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance and possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana and a warrant from the Gregg County Clerk for theft of property between $750 and $2,500 in value. He also faced payment plans from warrants from Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 for nonpayment of court fines for both possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an invalid license.

Kinlaw was arrested by Kilgore police at 9:22 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Business U.S. 259 and booked into jail Tuesday.

■ Devante Ke’ray Smith, 25, of Gilmer was being held Wednesday on $83,500 in bonds on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; possession of between 4 grams and 400 grams of a controlled substance; possession of less than 28 grams of a controlled substance; possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana; resisting arrest, search or transport; failure to identify as a fugitive or give false information; and a warrant from Dallas County for bond forfeiture for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Smith was arrested by Longview police at 12:58 a.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Mobberly Avenue.

■ Patton Decory Webb, 19, of Longview was being held Wednesday on $10,500 in bonds on warrants from the Gregg County Court at Law for bond forfeiture for evading arrest or detention and possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana and charges of possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana, unlawful carrying of a weapon and theft of firearm.

Webb was arrested by Longview police at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday on South Green Street and East Highland Avenue.
