■ Chace Nelson Cook, 26, of Dallas was being held Tuesday on a warrant from the 188th District Court for forgery of a government/national instrument/money/security. Bond had not been set Tuesday.

Cook was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 1:32 p.m. Monday in the Huntsville Unit of the Texas Department of Corrections.

■ Michael Ray Howard, 42, of Marshall was being held Tuesday on a warrant from the 124th District Court for violation of probation for assault on a family/household member, previous conviction. Bond had not been set Tuesday.

Howard was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Harrison County.

■ Stacey Martin, 41, of Gladewater was being held Tuesday on a warrant from the 124th District Court for violation of probation for possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance. Bond had not been set Tuesday.

Martin was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 10 a.m. Monday in the Gregg County Probation Department.

■ Edward William Joseph McBride, 18, of Longview was being held Tuesday on a $5,000 bond on a charge of possession of between 1 gram and 4 grams of a controlled substance and awaited bond on a warrant from Smith County for violation of probation for criminal trespass.

McBride was arrested by Longview police at 8:15 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Magnolia Street.

■ Christopher Ladell Powe, 21, of Kilgore was released Tuesday on $23,000 in bonds on charges of evading arrest or detention, unlawful carrying of a weapon, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana.

Powe was arrested by Kilgore police at 9:56 p.m. Monday on South Martin Street.

■ Luis Gerardo Ruiz, 33, of Longview was being held Tuesday on a $25,000 bond on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.

Ruiz was arrested by Longview police at 8 p.m. Monday at Hughey Drive and Pine Street.

■ Gaylon Demond Sanders, 40, of Longview was released Monday on $6,000 in bonds on charges of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance and driving with an invalid license with a previous conviction or suspension.

Sanders was arrested by White Oak police at 10:58 p.m. Sunday on South Whatley Road.

■ Johnathan William Younger, 33, of Longview was being held Tuesday on $55,000 in bonds on a warrant from the Gregg County Court at Law for aggravated assault on a family/household member, previous conviction, and a charge of violation of protective order preventing an offense caused by bias or prejudice.

Younger was arrested by Longview police at 7:23 p.m. Monday on Baxley Lane and Silver Falls Drive.
