ORE CITY — Memorial services for Fred Tommy Boger, 77, will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.
Fred was born to Louie and Virginia Edge on October 18, 1941 and passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Tyler, Texas. He was known as Tommy Boger when he was a student at Daingerfield High School. He served in the Navy, was a long haul trucker and owned JB Tomato stand in Diana, Texas for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Boger; his children, Donna Deets and husband Daniel, Michelle Edwards and husband Craig, Bryian Boger and wife Sue, Mark Boger, Amy Lapin and husband Buddy, and Kevin Jackson; brother, Wesley Edge and wife Pat; sisters, Becky Kesterson and husband Lee, and Roselyn Dupras; nine grandchildren, James, Jessica, Steven, Staci, Matthew, Amanda, Michael, Jessica and Jaci; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Virginia Edge; sister Lougay Brown; brother, Troy Boger and great-grandson, Noah Deets.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or any military organization.
